Science/Social Studies

Social Studies and Science will be rotated throughout the school year and therefore will be taught at different times.  (For example, science may begin first and take three to four weeks per unit and then will rotate to social studies.)

These subject areas will be taught for one hour per week. 

The three topics we will cover this year for social studies are:

1.)  Government
2.)  Economy
3.)  Geography including MAPS

The three topics in science that we will cover this year are:

1.)  Matter
2.)  Rocks and Minerals
3.)  Life Science-BUTTERFLIES!
